Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) Aide
Primary Purpose:
Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and orderly learning environment for students assigned to the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) by supporting student supervision, behavior management, and daily campus operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively with students in a structured educational setting.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise students throughout the school day.
- Monitor student behavior and reinforce campus rules and expectations.
- Assist students with assigned coursework as directed by the teacher.
- Support student arrival, dismissal, and movement throughout the campus.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the campus administrator.
